The Locality Teams comprise of social workers and occupational therapists and social care practitioners. Frontline staff working in Locality teams assess and support the needs of adults with care and support needs and carers with support needs, unless the adult&rsquo;s primary support needs are best met by specialist mental health, sensory or learning disability teams.

Section 8: Locality Teams (Occupational Therapy)
If you are a social work practitioner, you should use the guidance in Section 7. If you are an occupational therapy practitioner, use Section 8.
